This Glogster was taken from the Wiki “Teaching With TED” which is an excellent site that was set up by Jackie Gerstein to show the fantastic potential of using the wonderful array of TED and TEDTalks in education.

Using a link from the front page I found a really exciting project called “The TEDx Classroom Project” . This is where a teacher, Christian Long, has used TEDx talks as the basis for his Grade 10 students to explore TEDx talks as a means of information and as inspiration for their own development and learning.

Here is just one talk that I have downloaded from a student called Jackson. It is called “Our Life In Transition” and it is powerful in many ways. It shows the power of TEED to influence and teach, it shows that a student such as Jackson has learnt so much about the skills of delivery of a story or message through his watching of other great speakers in their talks.

Watch and see just how right Jackie is…the potential of TED in education is immense..
